QR Code on the Booking Confirmation
The standard booking confirmation in PDF format from Cargoclix SLOT has been enhanced with a QR code. The document, which every user can generate and print directly from a booking, still contains all the relevant booking details – but now also includes a barcode and a QR code featuring the Cargoclix booking ID.
The new QR-enabled version retains the full functionality of the previous booking confirmation. This includes being sent as an attachment in automated emails to registered SLOT users, ensuring that existing workflows can continue seamlessly.
Administrators are free to choose whether to use the previous version or the new version with the QR code. This setting can be configured in the Time Slots > Report Editor section, where the QR version can be specifically assigned to particular ramps and user roles.
This new feature offers significant benefits for customers who use on-site QR scanning systems: by presenting the booking confirmation with the QR code on arrival, bookings can be identified quickly and reliably – for example, at automated barrier systems.
