Jaus Opts for SLOT
At its site in Krumbach, Jaus Bakery works with the cloud-based time slot management system SLOT from Cargoclix. This optimises the daily handling of 15 trucks in goods receipt and goods despatch. Each booked time slot costs 50 cents. The company covers these costs itself and does not pass them on to the logistics service providers. The booking period begins 14 days in advance, but spontaneous bookings are also possible until 5 p.m. on the previous day.
The history of the Jaus bakery dates back to 1933. The company, which now has around 250 employees, is headquartered in Weißenhorn, Swabia. Its range includes 52 products, including sliced bread, baguettes and hot dog rolls. Jaus supplies customers in Germany and other European countries.
