Franz Fischer chooses SLOT

The freight forwarding company Franz Fischer has decided to implement the SLOT time slot management system from Cargoclix at its headquarters in Nienburg/Weser. The cloud-based solution is designed to help the company handle approximately 20 trucks daily inbound and outbound goods without congestion. Slot bookings begin 14 days in advance, and spontaneous bookings are possible until 4 p.m. the day before. The 50-cent fee per booking is borne by the freight forwarder itself and is not passed on to its transport service providers.

Franz Fischer was founded in 1948 and is now owner-managed by the third generation. The company currently comprises five individual companies and has offices in northern and southern Germany (Großenkneten and Germering), as well as in Switzerland and the United Kingdom (Neuhausen am Rheinfall and Wisbech/Cambridgeshire).
