Hermes Pharma Launches SLOT

Hermes Pharma has decided to use the time slot management system SLOT by Cargoclix. This enables the congestion-free handling of up to 20 trucks a day in incoming and outgoing goods. Those who want to book a time slot have the opportunity to do so with a 30-day lead time. The last booking possibility is on the day before the appointment until 3 pm. Besides SLOT, Hermes Pharma also uses the additional module ETA. ETA shows the expected arrival time of the truck in the SLOT time window booking. The booking of a time window costs 50 cents, the costs are borne by the logistics service providers.

Hermes Pharma is a separate division of Hermes Arzneimittel GmbH. The company employs 800 people. Hermes Pharma produces medicines in a so-called user-friendly oral dosage form – including effervescent, lozenge and chewable tablets.
