Alpha Packaging optimized with SLOT
Alpha Packaging has been one of the users of the web-based Cargoclix SLOT timeslot system since May. A total of 35 trucks are dispatched daily at two incoming and outgoing goods ramps in Etten-Leur, the Netherlands. Logistics service providers can book their desired timslot between 14 and 3 days before the planned delivery.
Alpha Packaging is a U.S.-based manufacturer of PET and HDPE containers specializing in pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements and personal care. Distribution centres are located in the Netherlands, Germany and England.
