In order to optimize logistics processes at the ramps, Germany’s largest company involved in the wood trade, ZEG Zentraleinkauf Holz + Kunststoff eG<\/a> introduces the Cargoclix timeslot platform SLOT<\/a>. The aim for the company is to optimise this way the logistics processes at the ramp.<\/p>\n

In the future, around 50 trucks will be dispatched daily in the incoming and outgoing goods department at the Stuttgart location by assigning time slots. Furthermore Shippers and carriers can book the desired timeslot via the Internet from 14 days in advance until the day before. Besides ZEG pays the fee of 50 cents per slot.<\/p>\n
