The company egeplast from Greven, a specialist for plastic pipe systems, is now working with the time slot management system SLOT from Cargoclix at its headquarters. The web-based software is designed to help process the 30 or so trucks that arrive at the incoming and outgoing goods departments each day without causing congestion. Time slots can be booked at any time – spontaneously or well in advance. There are no special deadlines for this in the company. Booking costs amount to 50 cents per booked time slot. The company bears these costs itself and does not pass them on to the logistics service providers.<\/span><\/p>\n

egeplast was founded in 1908 and is now in its fourth generation of family ownership. The headquarters and production site of the family-run company is in Greven, Westphalia, where egeplast claims to operate the most modern plant for polymer pipe systems in Europe. Pipe systems are produced for drinking water, sewage, telecommunications and more.<\/span><\/p>\n
