The Italian group Raccorderie Metalliche has recently started using the cloud-based time slot management system SLOT from Cargoclix at its sites in Campitello di Marcaria and Pilastro for incoming goods, thus ensuring that around 20 trucks can be processed without congestion every day. The company pays the 50 cent fee per time slot booking itself and does not pass it on to its logistics service providers. The booking period starts 20 days in advance and ends at 11.59 p.m. the day before.<\/span><\/p>\n

Raccorderie Metalliche is considered one of the world’s largest manufacturers of press fittings. The company operates two branches in Italy and three trading offices in Germany, Spain and France. The products manufactured – which also include fastening systems and accessories for radiators – are sold in around 60 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n
