Dr. Schumacher GmbH, manufacturer of disinfectants and hygiene products, has introduced SLOT by Cargoclix at its headquarters in Malsfeld. The cloud-based software solution is now making its contribution to the fact that up to eight trucks a day can be dispatched jam-free in incoming and outgoing goods. The period for booking time windows in the system begins with a lead time of 14 days and ends the day before at 4 pm. A booking fee of 50 cents is charged per slot. These are borne by the logistics service providers themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Schumacher is a family-owned company from Northern Hesse, which has set itself the goal of global growth. The group currently employs around 1,800 people at three production sites in Germany, Poland and Turkey. Each year, the company produces around 5,700 tons of disinfectants for skin and hands, medical devices and surfaces of all kinds, among other things, as well as around 500 million packaging units with wet wipes for various purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n
