The distribution network operator Westnetz has decided to introduce a cloud-based time slot management system at its location in Trier. With this system, 80 trucks per day can now be dispatched there in the incoming goods department without any traffic jams. The booking of a time slot costs 50 cents. Westnetz, as the client, bears the costs for this itself. Anyone wishing to book a time window has the possibility of doing so 30 days before the desired date. The booking period ends the day before at 12 noon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Westnetz GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of innogy Westenergie GmbH and the largest distribution network operator in Germany. The company employs about 5100 people.<\/span><\/p>\n
