The Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)<\/a> can now be calculated using TIMOCOM’s telematics system. TIMOCOM<\/a> cooperates with Cargoclix. By continuously comparing position data with the time of the\u00a0 booked slot, companies from industry and commerce can precisely calculate the ETA and check whether the truck will reach the ramp on time or whether another supplier can be brought forward. In practice, the transport service provider releases its GPS data for this purpose. These are regularly compared with the booked time window and the calculated actual arrival time is sent to the shipper. In this way, the ramp operator can calculate and plan with real-time data. The ETA can\u00a0 be activated for the booked time slot and in the next step, when selecting the provider, the option “TIMOCOM” must be selected. The Cargoclix ETA can then be linked to the TIMOCOM account, for which a link is also available in the booking mask.<\/span><\/p>\n
